This month we celebrate St. John and, with it, comes the long-awaited feast of São João by the hand of Hotel Carrís Porto Ribeira. And it’s not only us who say so, but also the Porto Cultural Agenda.

We join the official celebrations of the city with a very special arraial (party), open to the public, which will take place on June 23rd in the middle of Rua Infante D. Henrique, right in front of our hotel, in the heart of the Ribeira.

We want to share this magical night with our neighbors and visitors in a festive atmosphere, with music, good energy and, of course, the best of traditional gastronomy: grilled sardines, bifanas and green broth, accompanied by drinks for all tastes.

We will be serving throughout the afternoon and evening, so that no one is left without celebrating.

And if you are looking to experience this magical night in an even more special way, our rooms overlooking the Douro offer the perfect setting to enjoy the fireworks.

In addition, our guests are invited to toast with us from our private terrace overlooking the river.
